The stock fan isnt cutting it on my pentiumD 805 idk if its just defective or what but my cpu's running at like 45 C idle. I really dont like that Im used to like 33C max idle on my other computer, so Im looking for something that will cool it down a bit better for about 30-35$ or so. Im going away to college in 4 days and this thing will be stuck in a small HOT dorm room and I dont want to kill my computer 3 days after I built it. can you help me out?

The Zalman 9700 is nice. It's silent on the lowest speed and it looks cool.

Going to have to spend a bit more if you want something worth getting for that 805 trust got one and a 30 dollar CRAP Aerocool X-Fire. Even after lapping cant keep her below 65c at 3.0 ghz!!!
Get the TT BT or I guess the Zalman not a big fan of that design though, the Gemini is cool.

I just bought the Zalman CNPS9500 for my D 805 yesterday and I think cooling and size are at a perfect ratio (I'm not too sure about the price)
__________________I still say its a greater investment than some of those other $30-$35 heatsinks. I was going to purchase one of those but after testing out the Zalman I am not looking back. At the stock 2.66Ghz it idled at 33C and 37C load. So if you do a really good job (cleaning the stock thermal gunk from the CPU, sanding, buffing, etc..) you should get a very very good contact for a very very good heatsink.
