__________________The core temp start to drive me crazy here. It shows T-junction is 100c. After I removed and reinstalled it, it shows 85C. How can I calculate the core temp? Is this still correct? If T-junction is 100c, the core temp = cpu temp reading –15c. otherwise, the core temp= cpu reading.

Antd, thanks for the link! The beta reads my cpu correctly now. Thanks!
__________________No. If your particular cpu's tjunction is 100c, and coretemp is reporting it as 85c, then you need to add 15c. If your tjunction is 85c and coretemp is reporting it as 85c, temps are correct. If your tjunction is 100c and coretemp is reporting it as 100c, temps are correct. If your tjunction is 85 and coretemp is reporting it as 100, then subtract 15c.

If your idle temps at stock everything are reported at temps lower than your ambient temps, add the 15°C offset. Otherwise you're golden as far as readings are concerned.
