Default TR120 Extreme vs. CM GeminII
How does the GeminII compare to the TR120?

This thread isn't about glorifying the TR120 extreme. I already own it.

I am curious to know how much of a difference in cooling I would see if I downgraded to a GeminII from a TR120extreme?

I personal own TR120 Extreme. GeminII can't compare to TR120 Extreme. I used two GeminII coolers to build rig for my friends because the MIR deal. With same configuration (E2160 on Gigabyte DS3 mobos) and AS5, I saw no difference between GeminII and Arctic Freezer 7 but GeminII seems close the temp gap quicker. I don't have any specific number but just saw that on screen.

The difference between the Ultra 120 Extreme and the GeminII is similar to asking which is better, a Zippo or an Acetylene torch...

1.4625v iirc, load about 50C, 55max. never reseated.
what i love about the GeminII is that the cooling capacity barely drops when i switch my fans to 5v.
