Default Antec900/Ultra120X/Fan Controller

Hey. I was wondering: Are there any fan controllers for 4PIN ventilators? (My antec900 came with those)

And... for the people with a T.Ultra120, how does it work in your Antec900?

The ultra 120 will work fine with the antec 900 you just wont be able to use the side panel fan, it will hit the cooler

And for the fan controllers, im not 100% sure about the 4-pin molex controllers, but if they have a 3-pin as well, then theres plenty of good Vantec, in particular, controllers that would work great. Wish i could answer that better though. Maybe someone else who have used 4-pin fan controllers or something will chime in

I went with the Thermalright Ultima-90 in my 900 for just that reason (height vs case width). The performance is very similar to the Ultra120 and I have room for everything in my 900.

Also from what I've read (haven't done it yet) the way to go if you're going to use the Antec 3speed fans is to set them all on high, then attach to the fan controller. Then use the controller to adjust fan speed.

all you have to do is get 4 to 3 pin fan connectors, set all the antec's to high, and your set, and run the 3 pins into the fan contorller. i did it for a while before changing the fans in my rig.

I'm using the Vantec Nexus NXP-205, great little fan controller, controls at least 4 devices.. You can run two smaller fans on one controller via molex or 3-pin..

I currently have all my fans connected to it, including my CPU fan.

It really helps and dropped my temps 5C by plugging my CPU fan into it and cranking it to 11.

The Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme should come in on Monday and I'll see how it goes. (I love getting things in the mail on my day off
