I just got the Q6600 g0 and I want a good cooler.... only problem is I'm not mechanically inclined and I think I would break anything w/ a complicated installation (putting pieces together)... what is a good heatsink that a 5 year old can handle?

The Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme is one of the best, installation isn't too bad I don't think.

Yeah, it's a good choice if you want a small OC and something that's easy to install. I'd say get it

That is the same one I use and it will do fine with the speed you are looking to hit. The only difficulty putting it on was with the 2 push in clips under the fan. They can be a tad bit difficult to get to, but I have rather large hands so that probably had something to do with it. All in all the ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro is a good choice and it is one of most economical too.

Get the Tuniq Tower. Sells for $40 and is the best air cooler out there for under $70. Instructions are foolproof. It is heavy though, be careful to install backplate right.

I use a Tuniq Tower for my B3 [notoriously hot] stepping Q6600. Currently temps are around 34c on idle and 55c on Orthos loads. I have it in a Antec 900..very well ventilated with good 120mm fans, but am only using the stock fan on a med-high setting. the Q6600 is running 430mhz FSB 7x multi , 1:1 with 4gb's of Patriot Extreme.
You can always mod the Tuniq for two fans..and add some 'sinks to the base for a little extra boost in performance.
