My TRUE 120 Black just arrived in the mail today!

The Slipstreams are case fans, as I have two Ultra Kaze 3000's here waiting to be paired with my TRUE.

Now before I mount it or anything and shed a tear for my departing AC Freezer 7 Pro, I want to make a checklist of stuff I need to do:

1. Lap the TRUE
2. Not sure if I want to lap my Q6600 (worried I'll kill it)
3. Washer Mod

Anything else I should know? Thanks guys!

Yes, I will have to compensate for this. I'm considering to mod the bracket instead of spacers.

Question

Bit of a BTTT for this thread but I am about to buy a TrUE Black 120 (& MX-2 paste) and was wondering if I need a PWM controlled fan or would something like the Noctua NF-P12 120mm Case Fan at a fixed speed be sufficient for my system to keep it cool and quiet.

I can run stable (From the tests so far) at 4.04GHz but the poor old Freezer Pro 7 can't handle the temps too well.
