do you think it will be over priced to begin with? I sure like the lga775 fit compared to xp-90 needs bracket, i like the noise factor of fan and its led blue plus it has a fan monitor as well. I will wait a couple days and see what else people say then choose. i had my visa card out and the various parts in the basket ready to order the xp-90 when this was posted.... cool

Dang almost 500g and way cool looking. One can only wonder if it trully is as good as it looks!
You do realize as I'm guessing, the one in the middle is an over sized display to get peeps attention @ the convention
The actual unit is 125mm tall or about 3.2"

Hmmm, look at the shape of the heatpipes, they are filled with some liquid, so couldn't the shape help the liquid move through the heatpipes to continue the evaporation-condensation cycle? Maybe that will make it outstand, but I'm just supposing.

yea...i didn't notice the one on display. fitting THAT on your cpu!!

498g is VERY light for an all-copper hsf...WOW. i wouldn't buy one - i've already got an xp-90...but i think it will outperform the xp-120.

note: that graph showed fan rpms, but i don't think an xp-120 will have a 3.4 prescott at 65C with a decent fan. EDIT: to be clear, i think it will have a HARD time beating an xp-120, unless the zalman fan is turned up

ignore the chart, wait for a review (one from overclockers.com - with the c/w ratio, that's the one i look for)

@DataX: remember, the whole thing will be sideways in your case, which means the liquid would settle (supposedly) in the sides. i doubt it will make much of a difference though.

I wish I better under stood heat pipes... I believe it utilizes thermal emulsification where the fluid reacts to rising temperatures and converts from a liquid to a gas and rises and as it cools returns to a liquid thus it's cycle of transporting the heat away form the source.
Any experts out there that can elaborate on the "Heat Pipe" concept!

Hmmm... a quick dig by the dog and I think my interp. is accurate!

Ask and ye shall recieve....

I did a little hunting and here she is!

A bit expensive for my tastes, but who knows, I might wait for reviews and just buy it, even though I already have a Zalman 7000cu.
