Removing the black grill would likely reduce the noise by a good amount but void the warranty as well. If you're gonna be voiding the warranty might as well replace the fan with a more efficient fan.

Nice thread, Perhaps ask the guys in Case modding For Some advice on more Airflow.

im in the middle of modding my case, To accomodate more fans, Having two mini fans in the Top of the case, there something pathetic like 30mm, If these run out of stock im getting A evercool.

I also have 3 Large fans sucking in air at the Front, (1 in the Hard drive bay, a small Custom fan in the 3.5" bay and the large stock fan)
Then i have 2 Side fans ( soon to be 3 after a Custom case mod )
Psu fan, Rear Exhaust fan, +1 extra exhaust

Also planning soon to Add a Fan to behind the CPU backplate to keep it as cool as can be behind there, also mini fans on the bottom of the computer like on the top ( i have my Computer on altleast 60mm so air would be able to flow.

But now i have a question,

I have alot of air Going into the Computer case contantly, and its only a mid tower, Is it bad to have too much air Going in? shout i have more Exhausts To then Drag the air out? Would this help Lower my Temperatures?

Depends on the case and layout. I'd need pics for each case (no pun intended), but generally it's better to have balanced intake/exhaust, intaking at the front/top and exhausting out the back.

is double sided tape the best to stick it with?

edit: I just realized you have the same board as my second rig. Remind me to take pics this weekend (have to find the camera wire). I've got a 40mm on it as well. I used 2'' long screws.
