I don't think that could be right. If a 3200 was running at 80C I think it would definantely shut down, if not fry.

My bet is that the temp monitors are off, but as ^^^ said I would reseat the heatsink and do the thermalpaste thing.

How many fans do you have in your system?

EDIT: I think it would help if you put your system specs in your sig/whatever-that-thing-is-called. What videocard do you have? It could be a erhm...slightly hot video card perhaps.

Make sure you have the progs set up properly. My motherboard monitor says -2*C for my CPU.

Roboot and look at the health monitor in the bios.

ye peepl, i also have somethin similar... check my rig showcase for the computer im installing windows on right now. I had 3 fans in the back blowing in, and a psu fan like 10 cm above it blowing out.. so i pretty much got no circulation - and hat 39 idle for cpu, 52 for chipset, and 40 for pwm. Not sure wat my vid card is, but its VERY hot. Anyway, i just replaced all the fans, and now have one intake at the front, one exhaust fan ont he back, one psu fan also working exhaust obviously, and one at the side doing intake as wel.. I have placed a slim icepack right in front of my intake fan. It seems to help... althought i cant get any temp readings since im reformatting a 160gb.
Its gona take me liek another hour. So when i stop, ill post the temps. they reaallly dont feel very good right now..
