Ok this computer is getting really hot and i have no case fans. I was wondering about getting this expansion slot fan don;t know if anyone has used it before.

Welcome to the Forum
__________________Either get true "case" fans or mod the case to install them. Slot coolers of that type tend to rob the natural flow of air and can cause HOT spots in the system. Air must flow in the bottom/front and out the top rear! If you have no front fan location you could cut out the floor of the case and install it in the front area! Same situation on the top ...add a blow hole to the top panel. Or, just get a different case ... either way get the case air flow improved without a slot cooler.

I'v avoided the slot cooler since I'v read they cause hot spots.
__________________If you are handy, modding the case and adding conventional fans is the best bet! I'v yet to se a case that don't have some type of ability to mount at least 1 front fan. A lil tip if you can mount a front fan that has a location provided in the case... CUT out the restrictive little holes that most common cases have... the fan can draw much better than with the restricting lame little holes provied... Or if you are going to do that consider a 92mm fan for quieter and better air flow... It's easy "IF you have the room" ... drill 1 hole, mount the 92mm in the location you desire ... scribe the other 3 holes and trace the inside of the with a sharpe or flare marker, drill the 3 holes before cutting and cut away the excess.
