today i bought a new cooler for my CPU(pics attached) and i need help on how to apply the thermal paste.
last time i made it the wrong way and ended up with 59-60 ºC load. the thermal paste came with the cooler,i'd buy AS5 but it's not sold around here.

people have there different ways of doing it but the fastest and easiest way for me is to put the compound in center of cpu then stick your hand into a sandwich bag and poke out your finger a little bit stretching bag over finger then rub around paste until spread over cpu
buy the way thats a nice cooler you have there

You don't want to use the full tube, just a tiny line across the die should suffice. the mounting pressure of the hsf will spread it for you.
Some like to use a sandwich baggy and spread the tim around but I don't suggest it. Not sure of how good that tim is anyway, I would pick up some AS5 whenever you could.

can barely see the tube in the pic, but usually about half the size of a grain of rice is just about right. You want to spread it very thinly, enough to cover, but not enough to have a thick layer.

well now that i look at the pic just use about 2 grains of rice worth of it
put a dab the size of one grain of rice then another dab and that should be enough
