Default Just lapped my TRUE and wanted to show it off :)

I got my easykits premium lapping kit with AS5 and my TRUE in the same day. I started right away!

Took me roughly 3 hours but that's cause I'm a perfectionist.
My Thermaltake Typhoon VX had my running at high 40's with my Q6600

Now I am running at 3.0ghz with 1.29v and my idle is 31-34c depending on which core you're looking at and 43-45c on full load PRIME95 after 6 hours.
I couldn't be happier. My case fairly warm inside because I'm running a raptor and a 500gb drive in addition to SLI 8800GTS 512mb.

Here are some pictures, let me know what you think!

P.S- regarding the graph paper, it was a mangled crumpled piece that I straightened out for the hell of it. Don't base any of your opinions on it because it's not a correct graph paper comparison.

Did the light test and nothing shone through, it worked perfectly!

Let me know what you think!

Very nice lap job there. And nice temps. I'd do some more overclocking if I was you as you should be able to push your q6600 more.

Thanks guys!
I would OC it more but my BIOS (0901) is not too great with it. Unfortunately that's what the board shipped with. I tried force flashing to a bios that would actually work well with OC'ing but I couldn't get it to work.
One day, probably when my AS5 settles down I am going to try and get some higher numbers.

Oh man, every time I see another lapped heatsink, it makes me want to do it. But first I need to wait for my new Scythe Mugen cooler to arrive, which should be today! My current heatsink has exposed heatpipes which are basically unlappable.
