Default looking for a socket A heatsink

my main problem is lack of room, and small newegg selection. can anyone recommend one? i need something to be either small enough to fit in the space, or tall enough so it won't run into the capacitors on the mobo. the cap. are about 2.5cm tall, and the socket is a little over .5 cm tall (0.75 to guess). there is about 8x9-10cm space between the cap. i would prefer at least a 80mm fan. the stock heatsink is somewhat small, and has white wax stuff on the bottom with a 70mm fan. the temps are crazy! in the bios it hits about 50c without even booting. after a restart the bios said 59c. some of this may be due to the fact that the case has poor airflow, there is one 92mm exhaust fan at about 1100rpm. i have a few questions. this is my first amd cpu, so i've never really done much to a cpu that didn't have a heatspreader attached. is it ok to use thermal paste on one of these? its an athlon 3200+. here's what ive seen so far.

i think that one would fit, but will it cool enough?

this one doesn't specifically say A compatible, but its under a socket A compatible category. do you think it's tall enough to clear the cap.'s?

one of these would be cool(no pun intended) but im not sure these would clear the cap.'s either. im very much open to suggestions.(btw the titan butterfly one is not included, i was just looking at the zalmans)

so this won't work, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835128012
i found out the hard way. it fits, but it has no way of attaching to a socket A. I'll be sending it back. one question. my mobo has a place for screw holes in it next to the socket, but the holes aren't there, they're just solder-colored circles. can i possibly drill these out so i can get a zalman? or will that totally ruin the mobo? i could take pics if you want.
