Default Showing the wrong cpu stat.

Ive clocked my cpu to 3.5Ghz, and some places it sais that but some other places it sais that ive clocked it to 4.5Ghz (!!) Anyone of you exp that? And is it something i should worry about? Is the oc "unclean" or summit, and that causes it? Or issn`t it anything to worry about..

I'm guessing your cpu has a default multipler of 9 since 500 x 9 is 4500. Since you changed the multiplier some programs think your speed is 4500 even though it is actually 500x7 = 3500

i dont think it is anything to worry about, my q6600 has a x9 default multiplier but i have it set to x8 and my fsb is 400
if i right click my computer and go to properties i see 3.6ghz even though it is really 3.2, CPUz displays the actual

Go with the 4.5G OC
Sorry, not a clue as to why you see two very different OCs being reported.

whatever CPUz says is what your cpu is running at since it takes your actual multiplier into account, some programs just read your current FSB x default multiplier.

The methods that windows/software uses to get the stats are imperfect. Trust whatever you set it to in bios
