If this has not been said, try putting some heatsinks on the mosfets. As someone already said, upgrading your NB heatsink would probably lower your temps. This would definitely improve your temps- http://img145.imageshack.us/img145/8...aihs006ck6.jpg. Someone else did something just like this but left some of the metal from the IHS on edges so pressure wouldn't hurt the cores. You would have to use some type of non-conductive thermal paste like Artic Silver Ceramique.

Sorry to bump this old thing, but I just realized that my TJMAX this whole time was 100C when it should have been 95C or 90C? That means my temps are at least 5C lower than in the pics?

Call me a very, very happy ''something''.

Time to lower fan speed to 5V

Any word on how its possible to get temps this low? Seems fake to me lol....



Core temp is what is set to 95C TJmax, HWMonitor is at 100C

I know its only 2mins of load but the point is about the TJmax.

edit: Oh yeah ambient is at 74.8F inside the case.
