I've seen what the Xigmatek HDT-S1283 can do...
__________________And I've seen what a TRUE can do, they're about equal... give or take and the HDT-S1283 is half the price? o.o

I say again. TRUEs vary in performance. I would recommend a Xigmatek for anyone that can't spend the extra cash, but if you can, the TRUE is your friend.

1.True-if budget is not a concern, pick the right fan for your set-up, don't mind doing the prep required (lapping). An older version would not be subject to quality-control issues that the new ones are experiencing.

You might want to add the Zalman CNPS9700 to your list

Too loud for me but a good option, especially at this price:

You can put the AC 64 with the AC 7, basically the same thing, just 1 is for Intel, the other is for AMD.
__________________Great budget cooler. You can find it on sale for ~$20 sometimes. It will not work as well as some of the $70 coolers, but for most, it does quite well (and is pretty quite and has a 4 pin MoBo plug.

TRUE is not worth it at all. You have to really mess with the settings.
