Is the fan in the Tuniq Tower just a regular 120mm case fan? If so, could it be replaced with another to give more airflow?

yes, it's a regular 120mm fan. But replacing it won't help much, unless you replace it with a monster like the Silverstone fan that pushes 110CFM. The Tuniq fan is a pretty darn good fan it it's own right!

Ehhhhh, wish they would put more care in proper seating/TIM.... Quote:
BUT for those who would like it to be a bit more silent they can replace it with one that has the same CFM but less dba. But yeah you can make it match your needs of silence or power.

Yeah -I think you made the right choice as well. I have the P182 (same thing just different color) and I just changed over to the TRUE.
My Core temps initially went down 6c after the initial install, and, after a cure time of about 5 days - they are leveled out now 10c lower.

I'm in the same seat now, I did search the forum instead of making an exact same thread, so I'll kick this thread alive by asking the same as the OP but with other things...
I too will be buying a TRUE120 now (not the Black one though). And I will use two 9-bladed Noctua fans on it(P12-1300). My case is a CMS STC-T01 with no fan on the top. I have used this 9700NT two years now, I have been very pleased to have it. But I to will pass it on to the other PC and make way for the TRUE120. The reason I change is that the 9700NT ain't a good Volt cooler (1.4v+). Anyone that have done the same as Gallowspole that can share their wisdom about the two coolers?
