Great guide mate. Rep+

A few questions.............

☼ I have a small case and I have its sides open. I use Gigabyte G31M-S2L mATX mobo in it without any problem. Can I use a Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme with it?

☼ Do I have to lap both the processor and heatsink?

☼ Should I add 1 intake and 1 exhaust fan with the heatsink?


I had some questions more but currently I can't remember them. I will remember them and ask them later. Also I will add some pics of the inside of my mobo.

1. It should fit.
2. You would benefit from lapping both.
3. Not needed, but it will help.

You may want to add Hardware Monitor to the monitoring software. It will tell you temps and fans speeds in one place as well as voltages.
