Default Q6600 OCCT temps

Hi,

Are my OCCT temps to high. system temp is 33c

40/66/62/67

Hello

I would say something is not right.. there is no consistency on those temps.. I see core 0 40 and others 60+ not right.. either the program is giving you a bad reading.. you can try coretemp or HW monitor to see if those temps are true. If those temps are indeed true then you are having a problem with your HSF. reseat . Put less TIM and make sure your screws are well tight.

Yeah your heat sink isnt seated right id bet with temps of 40/66/62/67.Id try reseating your h/s Seriously

A 5 degree difference between cores is normal, your temps on the other hand are way off. Try coretemp and see what kind of temps you get. If your temps are still off like that, you should reseat your h/s and reapply your compound.

its not TOO high, but its cutting it close to the 70C wall you do NOT wanna cross. But your temps like everyone else says, is whacky... 40C on core 0 and 60+ on Core 1 2 3? thats not right, and like gibsonnova says 5 degree temp difference between cores. ie 65/60/65/60
