Default Vendetta 2 vs TRUE?

I've got most of my parts ready to assemble

CPU: e8400
Case: Antec p182
arctic cooling mx-2
MB: Asus P5q deluxe
Ram: mushkin (996619) 4gb 2x2
HD: 500gb 7200.11 seagate
PSU: Xigmatek 650w
dvd writer: Samsung sh-s203n

Parts on the way:

CPU heatsink: Thermalright Ultra-120 extreme
CPU fan: Nexus 120
http://www.heatsinkfactory.com/nexus...-case-fan.html

I would like to o/c to 4+ghz, but without sacraficing system stability/reliability.

After rereading posts, it seems like many that advocate the TRUE, always lap the heat sink and cpu. I am not planning on lapping at all. With that said, would a better choice be the vendetta 2? Will it fit my case? Price for TRUE and fan was about $72. Price for vendetta 2 on amazon is $37 w/free shipping.

I've read the following review, and am annoyed that I didn't find it when doing my initial research. Reviewer seems to be OCZ biased, and test results don't show actual numbers. So I am a little skeptical.
http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.ph...d=156&Itemid=1

Regardless of heatsink choice, can I orient it exhausting out the top of the case and is that recommended?

I advice you to get V2, FWIW you'll get the best bang for the buck.

The hot air must be directed outside of the case, make sure you mount the fan in the right way.

OCZ V2 fall the way!

It is cheaper (especially by the time you buy a fan for the TRUE) and performs about the same if not better.

So I hear the Vendetta 2 is good. I recommend the Xigmatek S1283. I have personally used it and it performs very well.

WHY DON'T MORE PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT THIS HSF? It beats out the Tuniq and is on par with the TRUE and is much cheaper.

I suppose people are so used to hearing that the TRUE is the king so they keep repeating the information. I'd get the OCZ Vendetta 2. It's on par with the TRUE, if not better and it's far cheaper. When will Thermalright catch on and start using direct touch heatpipes instead of rereleasing almost two year old coolers?

Sunbeam core contact freezer, or Vendetta 2, or Xigamatek.
