Hi,
__________________Measuring my temps with core temp i am getting temps of 57/58/52/52 I have reseated the heatsink twice is this normal. Thanks

4 cores
4 temps ![]() not all the cores will be exactly the same temp, but some software will show you the AVERAGE temp

Yes, it's perfectly normal. If the differences start exceeding 10c-12c, I'd be a little concerned. With quads, the cores will never be all the same temp. The temps will probably even out a bit with lapping. Are those load or idle?

I was seeing almost a 10C variance in cores with my Q6600 before I lapped my Ultra-120 Extreme. Even now they vary around 6C. I'd imagine if I lap my CPU as well, the difference would become smaller. But I'm not too worried about it.
