i'm gonna be gettin a true and puttin it on a e8400 on a 780i in a thermaltake armor case soon and just wanted to know what some good fairly quiet fans are for it. it doesn't matter if they're not led, but it would be nice if they were. most important is that they're good enough to keep my cpu cool, but not so loud that they overpower teh other fans in meh case.

The TRUE does better with high CFM/high static pressure fans given the tight fin spacing. High static pressure usually comes with 38mm thick 120mm fans, so I'll recommend those.
I've had good experiences with Panaflo fans, but they don't come with standard fan tails (unless you order from Performance-PCs, where they change the tail for you). The M1 is probably your best bet, or possibly the H1 if you don't mind a little extra noise. The Scythe Ultra Kaze fans are also good, the 2000RPM is your best bet there.

35 Dba isn't really that bad, 30 is like someone whispering to you from 5 feet away, so almost silent.

I use the PanFlo H1 and it works fine and not to loud, but I do use a fan controller.
http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...roducts_id=477 Actually, since I use a fan controller I should of purchased the PanFlo Ultra @ the same price. http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...oducts_id=3142
