Have you lapped it? I heard that most TRUEs come with a horrible contact surface and almost require a lapping.

Ira-k would probly tell you to try reseating it 5-6 times and use very little paste. those things are big and heavy and if they are not tight they lean a little making your contact to the chip off kilter. also I think AC5 takes 24 hours or so to cure up. keep trying man it will work!

Can you mount the TRUE vertically?
Horizontal mounting is not as efficient IMO, tower coolers need good front-->rear airflow to really work well.

I never got good temps with my ocz freeze i tried 10-12 times and finaly gave up on it my as5 gives 20c lower then i ever got out of the ocz freeze.

Antec Tri-cool. Set to the highest setting. That's about 2000RPM, I think.

like 68cfm or somethin... i have 2 or 3 of them for case fans.
