Default Sorry to say.

But the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme is absolutely rubbish.

Unless someone who owns one would like to tell me how the hell you get the fan clips on, I'm sending this POS back. I expect things to work and when I can't get some fiddly little clip to fit, I'm not impressed.

Help.

I had to really stretch the cips to get them in there but it's holding and is pretty firm. Thank you. Mucho repo.

I stress far too easily.

lol I wish I had those pics when I first got my TRUE...the clips are a little annoying when you first use them, but they're actually implemented quite well when you think about it. Changing fans is a breeze.

Yeah, it's official.

TRUE cooler + OCZ freeze compond = suck.

This cooler sucks. I'm idling at 39C at 2ghz. Yes, I'm underclocked and this cooler is creap.

I don't recommend this cooler ot anyone. What was this rubbish about it being the best?

Couple things...

1. How much thermal paste did you use?
2. What fan are you using, and what direction is it blowing?
3. Have you tried re-seating it?

It's been proven over and over again to be one of the best on the market.

Wow just because you installed it wrong doesn't mean "this cooler sucks". I think thousands of other successes with the TRUE outweigh your troubles.

The fan is blowing upwards towards the top exhaust fan on the P182. I used about a grain of rice's worth of paste and the OCZ Freeze thermal paste is just fine.

I do apologise, but I've had some right stress this afternoon. Now my 4GB of 1066 RAM is only reading at 333mhz, instead of 533mhz.

EDIT:

I'm not an idiot and it's installed just fine.

Less paste, use the line method.
If your mounting bracket does not have the pressure washer, then you will have to add one.

OT the post order is borked.
