Default Which one?

This is my first PC build. I'm stuck between a few CPU coolers. The Ultra Chilltech, ( http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...4&Sku=ULT33186 ) and the Rosewill RCX-Z5 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835200037)

Which is better? Or which would you recommend? My only requirement is it must fit into a Ultra Aluminus case AND have blue LEDs. K thanx

I would highly recommend against both of those CPU coolers. Rosewill's are cheap Newegg-made heatsinks and perform horribly.
Not sure about the Ultra Chilltech but since I have never heard of it before and it's price is too high I would not get that either.
The best heatsink on the market is the Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme CPU Heatsink for $50
If you are going for price to performance I would look into some Xigmatek CPU coolers.
If you are unable to find a thermalright from a store of your liking another high performance CPU cooler is the Tuniq 120 Tower.
I would also recommend purchasing some OCZ Freeze thermal paste.

The Chilltech is very overpriced in my opinion. Based on online reviews, it seems most top end air coolers will match or beat it. It's also quite loud at full speed and I've heard that fan control isn't implemented all that well (ramps up and down all the time for no reason). I'm sure it will cool well either way, I just think there are better choices. I've also had bad experiences with various Ultra products. I don't trust their quality.

That's quite a huge gap between $60-$130. What's your price range or does that matter? Pretty much every air cooler fits in that range. Like ubernewhacks said, you could get a Ultra-120 Extreme and slap on a blue LED fan. Or if you want a hsf that already has a blue LEDs: Zerotherm Nirvana or the Zalman 9700 are good choices as well.

Yes, avoid the Rosewell cooler. The price seems great, but the performance is nothing. The same holds true for most of the Foxconn coolers too.

Having the the requirement of blue LEDs is minor compared to getting it to fit into the case. LOL

If the cooler has no blue LEDs, you can swap out it's fan to add one with blue LEDs.
Don't limit your cooler selection.

Your signature does spell out what CPU you have. Look at others in this air-cooling part of the forum that matches your CPU and what cooler they use.
