Funny cause at one point my one PC had a Noctua, the other had a 9700nt.

The 9700nt is a flashy heatsink. Kinda like a tuned Supra or RX-7.

However the noctua is like an alfa romeo, or a porsche, or a bmw or something.

Can't be an Alfa because it doesn't break down a lot. And it can't be a Porsche because it's heatpipes aren't in the top (911 engine is in the back remember ). And it can't be a BMW because it doesn't come with a bluetooth headset and a white polo t-shirt. It's more like a Bentley Brooklands. It's very big, its very quiet, but it will rip your face off when you want it to (deal with all the heat = ripping your face off)

I <3 analogies.

Noctua = Finest French Champagne

TRUE = Can of Lager (For examples sake, let's say Kronenbourg 1664, not bad, but not the best)

Zalman = Bottle of Cherry Lambrini (Magnum size) or White Lightning.

(possibly only the Brits will understand the Zalman reference)

I'm buying a true.

I'm gonna put them head to head, I think the Noctua stands a chance, however I will be purely unbiased.
