Hellspawn or Hell's Pawn?

Well as soon as you put a fan on the back of a heatsink (not on the front) it adds easily 6 more dba from the fan alone, and then there's possible turbulence from it not sucking enough air from the UK (not United Kingdom). I figure it would have as much chances at sucking air as keeping it in, which is why I figure it's not worth the trouble.

Dont bother with a push/pull if you buy a higher CFM fan. Scythe makes some great ones, but I got myself a yate loon cause its flashy
. It looks nice here

YL's from Performance-PCs were $7 shipped and pre-sleeved with only a 3pin connector, I couldn't pass it up

Nah no harm done
![]() I think I'll order some . 2x120mm YL D12SM 70cfm 33dba sounds like they'll do the trick...no need to have them sleeved for me, its an extra $3 per fan...Ordered ![]() And yes the fan works under water. Also, you can remoev the entire green part...the fan blades and stuff...it just pops off so you can clean it really easily. Neat feature as well

man i just bought this cooler yesterday at microcenter and i had to bring this thread back to life. This cooler is so amazing! dead silent and my load temperatures are now what my cpu used to idle at with my arctic freezer 64. this allowed me to get an extra 200mhz oc on my cpu to 3550mhz! i will post a pic if i can get a good enough one with my crappy cell phone camera
EDIT: man i love this cooler..and why does it look like my 8800 is power by a molex connector lol?
