That's not what you should be looking at. For a B3, the recommended thermal limit is 65C I think. and for a G0 its 72C. Past that, you're asking for big trouble.

CPU's are alot stronger than you guys think. They won't die at 85c right away but its not suggested to run it there continuously.

I guess for short periods, but for any extended period of time its a very bad plan. Generally anything above 80c also invites major instability

I'll stop SMP folding for now. My temps have dropped to 47c since shutting down the SMP client a few minutes ago.

Just hope there isnt any damage. Once you have the noctua fitted it should be ok, stay below 65c tho, better safe than sorry

As an example of how epic the noctua is, it keeps my temps below 50c while windows smp folding with just the stock fan, and I'm running a 60% overclock lol

Yup. I top out at 48*C while folding 100% on a factory OC'ed 125W CPU

Just lapped this U12 that I sold to Mr Pink57. I used 400/600/800/1000/2000 grits. Too bad I can't test it
