No fans are losing RPM, the case wasn't dusty..i clean it out all the time, including the fins of the heatsink.

I lapped my Noctua and E6300 today. So far I'm only seeing an improvement of around 2c at load. Could be because I'm still only using the single stock fan, I'll have to get some better ones.

Apply little to none thermal paste .

Most people who lap both the CPU and heatsink don't use any thermalpaste at all, it isn't needed.

Really? I forgot to do the razor blade test so I'm gona have to take it off again at somepoint in the next few weeks and check it. Ill test the no TIM thing then. But yeah, I put very little on. Had to re-apply it after having to much the first time
