I got mine Thursday.

* CPU Information: E6850
* Clock Speed: 3600 mhz
* Vcore: 1.35v
* Ambient 25c
* Idle 32c
* Load 59c
* Comments: Stock fan for now and nothing is lapped. I'm gonna reseat it when I get the chance.

I've got an old Dell fan that came with my other comp. It's got a 4 pin connector on it but it runs at max when plugged into one of the fan connectors on the mobo. I know it runs slower because it did on the old dell but no matter what combo I put the wires in it either doesn't start or goes to max. Does anybody know which combo I need to put the wire in to make it work right?

I believe it's 10mm taller and has a better fan. At least that's what XIG website said for the spec.

All of my temps were measure with RealTemp calibrated to a 95C tjmax, hottest core.

The 1283 has one less heatpipe, but performs slightly better as all the heatpipes make full contact with the IHS.
