Love my little Xig S1283, got a new fan on order for it from here

Hopefully if I have money next month for my Phenom II 940 I can give you some nice AMD input

What are your guys thoughts on how I put the TIM on. I just applied it right onto the CPU. I did not put it onto the Xig at all. Is this the best way or should I do it the way it was linked above.

Do u got the new temp readings now thats fix???

To be honest, the kit it comes with is pretty damn good.

I got my chip at 3.2ghz (8x400, @ 1.325vcore) right now... testing in OCCT.
Max temps are 46c. 20 minutes left. No errors.


How high do you guys think I can take it?

very interesting read, so the s1284 sucks? alot of praises for the s1283 model. looking forward to get this, i hope it fits in case. so it it better off to have the TIM on the heatsink, and not on the cpu?
