In this thread, I will have 4 tests in total. 2 tests with fans on high and low with a push-pin setup, and 2 tests with fans on high and low with a bolt-thru setup.
EDIT: I forgot to mention, I have my e6750 overclocked to 3.2ghz at stock voltages (1.35v). And the AS5 is CURED. Note: When idling for 15 minutes, the PWM exhaust fan spins at 800rpm. When on load, it spins at 1500rpm. For the loading the cpu, I used small FTT's on prime95 for 30 minutes. PUSH-PIN SETUP Test 1. Fans on low I had my sig rig on idle for 15 minutes. The idle temps read 32C/33C. For the load test, I had prime95 on small FTT's. The load temps read 55C/55C. ![]() Test 2. Fans on high Once again, I had my sig rig on idle for 15 minutes. The idle temps read 31C/32C. Once again, I had prime95 on small FTT's. The load temps read 51C/51C. ![]() BOLT-THRU SETUP Test 1. Fans on low I had my sig rig on idle for 15 minutes. Did you have to do any mods to make it fit snug? Right after I asked that question I saw someone post this bolt thru kit and that it needs no mods for the vendetta 2
