Ive never used The MX-2 but i hear its good! The AS% is very good!

I was reading some though of some people and they sad something that AS5 will decay over time and it conducts electricity. Also i am using the cooler in my sig and when CPU is @ 100% load temps go like 65 but when i touch the heat pipes in the cooler they are like 33. Does this means the heat is not getting transferred well?

MX-2 comes off it's just thicker - comes off fine.

Are you using stock TIM?

Havent herd any good reviews about the mx-2 mate.. id personally go the as5 or as7 but imo as5 is the best.. Heres a link for some as5 and some ArctiClean 1 Thermal Material Remover and ArctiClean 2 Thermal Surface Purifier .. i both use all these 3 and from my experience ive never had any problems.. heres the link http://www.petrastechshop.com/arsico.html

Honestly either are fine choices, MX-2 lowered my temps by 18 degrees over stock.

18c? definately wasnt from the paste then.. Definately not.. Mayb ur cpu wasnt making good contact or something beats me
