idle temps should never be your concern, load temps are what matters.

Re-seat a few times, and maybe hit it again if needed

the difference between 1.45v and 1.475v on my s1283 were pretty substantial in both idle and load temps. getting a ultra kaze later this week though so maybe I'll get an improvement

Do yourself the biggest favor of your life and contact cyber druid. Buy a San Ace 1011 and be happy. I have had both the 3000 rpm ultra kaze, and a handful of san ace fans. San Ace's flow 90% as much and have half the noise.
