![]() Also just about any fan that pushes 50+ CFM should be plenty. So find one that does with a low Dba and you are set

3k ultra kaze (45.90dBA -133.60CFM) doesnt help lessen the noise (true? I need proof)... but the 2,000 rpm version ( 32.91dBA / 87.63CFM) is more controllable > feel free to correct me coz I would really like to buy some ultra kaze for exhaust fans for a cm690

I'm using the scythe Ultra Kaze 3000rpm (120mm x 38mm)
The thing is awesome for cooling a true ![]() But god is it loud even in my Antec P180 ...lol So I hooked it up to the fan controller that came with my enzotech Extreme-X and all is well now....Just a slight change in rpm makes a difference in sound.

__________________thanks but your using the S flex technology fans...thats hi end vs the Ultra Kaze...in regards to DBA...I was either considering the slipstream High RPM 110cfm(claims) which is noisy (bearable based on eggs reviews) or the Big Bulky (gitrdone) U-kazes (LOUD)...application for a xigmatek s1283 and pc case > in the end I might just get led fans of Yate Loon hi rpm version and maybe a kaze for the rear exhaust also ??? should hi rpm/cfm fans only be used for exhaust app???

Do not put a slipstream on there and expect it to cool as well as it could. Slipstreams are amazing case fans, yet they don't have enough static pressure to pull enough heat off of the TRUE.

i just strapped this fan to my TRUE
http://www.xoxide.com/yate-loon-highspeed-120.html it dropped my temps by 3C more than the OCZ fan that i had on there the other day. I didn't initially put the yate loon on there because the holes on each side of the fan are connected by plastic. I just bought a dremel and had to cut and sand the posts down so the fan clip would fit into the hole.

Put two of your chosen fans on the TRUE.
Run them off of a fan controller. It will cool better than one fan and be more quiet to boot. Here's mine: ... ![]() ... (fans pictured are Silverstone FM121's ... )
