don't know whats not to like, looks pretty cool (literally) IMO.

last time I had an aftermarket VGA cooler was back on my x800xl and I really liked my ATI silencer from Arctic Cooling so I'm going with them again.

edit: actually, its between that and the Zalman VF1000.
Works great, have one on my 8800GT.
Fans plug right into the card and fan speed controlled by RivaTuner, Precision, or whatever ATI uses.

Not saying it doesn't look cool. I like the looks of a lot of these coolers. I just don't think most of them would suit my case. My setup. All my components are made to match visually as much as for performance. I know that any of those coolers would better perform than the stock cooler, so any change is an improvement. My biggest goal here is mostly visual rather than performance.

Do any of those coolers void Visiontek's lifetime warranty?

I don't know....which is why I'm asking. I use an aftermarket CPU cooler, but never used an aftermarket GPU cooler before.

as for my hd4850 cooler choice, I went with the Thermaltake Duorb because it had decent reviews, and was relatively cheap. (it also does look very cool with the two fans with blue LEDs imo)

Well, according to AMD using any CPU heatsink that isn't stock voids the warranty.

Just be careful and take your time whilst replacing the cooler and nothing will go wrong - be careful not to jab the pcb with a screwdriver - thats the most common damage.
