Default Cooling my case with no side pannels

Just a quick question that I haven't been able to find an answer to yet. My CPU and case temps have dropped about 5c since leaving the side panels off. Is it alright for me to leave them off permanently? I really don't have a problem with it, but I don't want it to be a problem for my computer.

Thanks in advance for any advice on this matter.

If you have cats or something id keep them out of the room and just make sure you use some Compressed air on it more regularly to keep the dust out but other than that it should be fine.

That's funny that you mentioned cats... My cat liked the feel of the air being sucked into the case by all the fans-Next thing I know, my temps have rose about 5*c that night. I went and cleaned my T.R.U.E the next day with an air compressor and find a nice, large amount of cat hair. If you have a cat, or a dog, you should be careful when they get close to your case. Or just leave the cover on.

Children, watch out for them. My girl friends 4 year old loves my lights in my case. Whenever he got a chance to get his hands in there he would tear my cold cathod uv lights out.

I now have my office game room and my cats shed alot. The front of my case has mesh filters and hair builds up rather quick over a week or two.

I would maybe pick up a case that has one of those 250mm side fan than you can enjoy closed case and plenty of air on the side being pushed in. OR... Get stronger intake and exhaust fans to have fresh air in quick and out. Just enough to pick up heat and leave.

Yeah, I don't let my cats in the bedroom. They get into too much trouble. Thanks for the reassurance!

During the warm months here...I usually run my side panels off. Nothing really to harm it except dust. Other than that, as everyone else has said, you're good to go.
