I'm currently debating either the S1283 or the TRUE. I've heard about the S1283 being good at idle wattage's, but starts to max the heat pipes as heat increases - where as the TRUE can handles it with its brute strength of fins and pipes.
__________________I'm running a E8500 right now, I'd love to push the OC harder on it. Not sure if that'll be pushing the S1283 to it limits. Maybe the S1283 can, and vcore and fsb will be limits? The only reason I contemplate the S1830 is its price. (and that new black one is ohh so nice looking)

i have a T.R.U.E black edition in my rig.
its a B.E.A.S.T! Just make sure that if you wanna hit like 4.5ghz and above, you should lap your true and processor, as well as add two fans to the true for push-pull cooling. that would be as effective as some watercooling kits! and under 150
