Default Is this a good cooler?

I have a Tigerdirect outlet store not far from me and was thinking of a new cooler. Is the Zerotherm BTF90 any good? I know the Thermalight Ultra 120 would be better but Tiger doesn't have it. Any other recommendations?

Thermaltake V1 looks tempting too.

Your AC Freezer 7 should perform better... your current HSF has 3 heatpipes (double sided), and the one's you listed both have two (double sided).

The Xigmatek S-1283 for $36.99 is a way better value than that. Plus the temps will be lower.

I don't see it's worth when stacked up against comparable competition. Are you having problems with the AC Freezer? I have nothing but good things to say about them for their price. I'd also get a Xigmatek well before those for the price.

Wow tigerdirect really has poor cooling selection. Can't argue with the Xigmatek cooler, it's always a good choice.

Any proof? I haven't heard of that being compared to the true, ever.

Well, here is the scoop. When you push down to lock the cooler in place the plastic pins fan out under the motherboard, well I got 1 side locked in but the other side the white plastic pins broke off. So I had to resort to the stock cooler I had laying around. And well we all know that stock is unacceptable. I put my CPU back to stock to be safe. My friend has offered me a spare AC Freezer 7 Pro that he had laying around. I was wondering if there was something better. I will probably just wait if I am not going to see much difference in temperature. I will agree that the AC F Pro 7 has served me well and I am pleased with the low temps.

I was looking at some Xigmatek coolers last night. The HDT-S1283 looks just like the AC Freezer 7 pro.
