Well, thing is, the Core Contact Freezer uses a weird mounting system. It's not quite as annoying as the OEM push pins, but it's not very secure. Some people have noticed as much as a 15C increase in temps within a week or two after the install.
__________________Thanks to sailerboy's hunting around, he found a site where the Xigmatek goes for $30, but the bolt-through kit is $8. Shipping adds $14, totaling $52. A great deal, if I say so myself. But people keep insisting on the TRUE. I will not be doing any OCing initially, but I will eventually. Edit: Saw a review of the TRUE - the base is far from flat. I really don't want to have to lap; I have a feeling something will go very bad if I do...

It's still solid I think the people who had problems didn't mount it properly or got bad brackets

Does that mean that Adrienspawn was misinformed? I mean, $40 is a lot more appealing to me than $60...

I am going to get killed but if you go on ebay and look up seller refurbdoc he sells zalman, pick up a zalman 9700 led or NT, I have a Q6600 @ 1.525v 3.5ghz and at full load it runs 61/60/57/57. I fold on it full time and it runs at 57/57/54/53. Refurbdoc sells them for around $35-$40 shipped.
__________________I just picked up one of those xigmateks and maybe mine has issues(still have to check if the bottom is actually flat, but looking like its not), mine barely can keep up with my zalman 9700led.
