Amen there!
In my Thermaltake Armor they have the small filter pads in the drive bay punchouts.. They get terribly dirty and I take them out and run a sticky lint/hair roller on them to get the dust bunnies and bigger pieces. A small shot of canned air and back they go for another month or two!

i always tell my customers to use pantyhose to use as fan filters. it seems to not restrict airflow and it actually filters out the dust very very well. on top of all that its cheap. just dont let your wife/mom/gf catch you cutting up theirs.

Thing is, a lot of dust sits on the outside of the case so aesthetically there's not much you can do.

I am thinking about doing this, I almost had my friend order me some filters off ebay.

Ok, I did this successfully today on my antec 900 fans, on the two front intakes.

For my HAF932, I bought some cheapo 'register filters' at the hardware store for like $2-3.. They are white (without a frame) and come in a pack of 24.
3 of them on the side and 2 on the front cover my 230mm fans nicely. I mounted the fan grill off the side door on the outside of the fan (intake side) to keep the filters away from the fan blades... On the front, since I cutout the honeycomb I was able to put the filters right under the front cover, and the cover's pegs actually hold them in place nicely. Looks like it should all work well, and I have a bunch of replacement filters still so there won't be any lint brushes involved I don't think..

Nice filters!
I used some 1/4" air conditioner filter foam from walmart on my pc. The dorm I'm in generates insane amounts of dust... It's sick. The filters are completely saturated in about a week. Glad I have em!
