See, in winter my ambient temps were slightly under 20 C and now they're over 30 C. It makes a huge difference in my load temps even on water. I like to think of my OC as being 13 C difference from ambient to load... if I was only in Canada eh during winter
Ambient temperatures are more important than most people realize. I just wanted to bring that to the attention of everyone here. By providing ambient temps, it is much easier to diagnose cooling issues.

I hear on the winter/summer oc. It's kind of hard to keep my house at 70F when it is 120F outside! Oh the wonders of living in Phoenix...

Great post Lando. I like trans posted in a thread a wile back where the persons room temp was 90*F, and they were trying to figure out why idle temps were mid 40's.A few others didn't feel the same as me that room temps were playing a major roll in this.
Maybe with a mod stating this fact more people will take ambient temp into consideration.
Id like to see this as a sticky personally.

Shouldn't this be an FAQ rather than a thread?

It could be a FAQ as well, but I wanted for people here in the air cooling section to realize the importance of posting their ambient temps before asking questions about the performance of their system.

Good pointers lando. It's better here as a post, most people don't pay attention to FAQs as much as new threads. Maybe it's the smiley's?
