I have a xigy with two fans in push pull. Last time I checked temps it got 45C at full load on my E8500, 1.248V. If you get either the True or Xigy you won't be disappointed.

I did the washer mod before but Robilar recommended this. So I gave it a try and it's awesome, it gives a way more even mount.

TRUE would beat it by about 7C even if the Xig had a 2000rpm Ultra Kaze on it.

Please dont confuse people looking for new products, here is a roundup with some performance results:

http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum...-review-8.html

And here: http://www.frostytech.com/articlevie...id=2233&page=5

And here: http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.ph...1&limitstart=4

NO where near 7C difference EVER., infact the S1283 wins a few i think. you might think its that much better because people lapped their cpu and TRUE but you cant compare that to the stock product. not everyone wants destroy a warranty on both their cpu and heatsink.

Frosty Tech and Benchmark Reviews both didn't do their tests properly. Benchmark Reviews did their tests at stock settings for everything and Frosty Tech just sucks in general. They have an Ultra-120 beating the TRUE by a ton, and their cooler performance chart is completely wrong.

And hardware canucks? Heres another one, basically every review online has them competitive. you are saying they are all payed off by xigmatek and flawed? instead find me one with the true winning by more then 3C PLEASE!!!!!!!

With push-pull fans and lapped yes i agree the true is better, but by 7c is just BS.

I would go with a TRUE and spend the few hours it takes to lap it. Best mod you will ever do. It's true out of the box a TRUE and S1283 are comparable, but the TRUE beats it out once you lap it. And if you lap your processor, gains are even larger. Get a TRUE with a Kaze and you won't be disappointed. Or you can go with two smaller fans and use a push-pull configuration. If you're worried about the fans making too much noise, don't. I have ten fans in my rig and I don't find it bothersome at all.

Never did I say they were payed off, all I said was that the two sites did their reviews wrong. Thanks for completely twisting my words around.

Sorry, it seemed you were trying to find the smallest technicalities to void every review that had both the coolers in it just for the sake of arguing.
