Guys get this

They don't put the kind of stress on the air cooler that you will. They put enough stress to bring up temperatures but the fact is the higher the heatload brings a bigger difference, with the TRUE120 pulling ahead by many degrees.

Also review sites usually don't lap, don't use high cfm fans, and dont use more than 170W of heat.

Have fun with your inferior Ximatek. Even a guy with a Ximatek posted to get a TRUE120

You can not directly mount two fans to a Xiggy with the stock hardware, but zip ties work perfect!

I have xigmatek 1283 and q66 @ 1.416V, it hits nearly 70, if you use correct intel TJmax=90°C than it's at low 60's

I love it, True costs two times more and is maybe for few °C better.

Those temps are terrible imo. Mines at 1.4v and around 60c max load.

I'm surprised the only S1284 review is the BM one.
Anyone have one to share the results with us?
If you're looking at a good Price/Performance HSF get a Xigmatek, otherwise, go with the TRUE.
The TRUE is way too expensive for my budget.

the real question here is if you want to spend double the money for 7C? on high voltage.

If you want to cool a Quad at 3.6+ for 24/7, yes you do. I like my Xigmatek but it's limits are very, very obvious. If I picked up a Q6600 I'd be dumping it for a true the same day and not think twice.
