Default cooling e8500

i want to overclock it up to 4.2 somewhere in the future....
i have the gigabyte x48-ds4 motherboard
and i have 2 unused 80mm 2500 rpm fans...
the question is if i buy coolermaster v8 and add those fans and the all thing will be in front of the exhaust 120mm gigabyte 2600rpm fan...

would that be good stuff??

I would imagine you need more cooling than that.

80mm fans aren't all that great.

Like halifax1 said, don't expect much from 80mm fans. What is the room temperature where you live?

I used to rely on 80mm fans until I got my Antec 900.

Your best bet would be to save and get a TRUE or a Xigmatek Cooler, and then buy a new really good 120mm fan and do either a push/pull, or somehow mount in inside your case blowing towards the cooler as well as having other 120mms on the cooler itself.

The 80mms can help, but they really can't push much air.

If you can only use 80mm fans, I can send you a few that I have, one's an Asus and it's one of the best 80mm fans I've used.

The CoolerMaster V8 gets some pretty decent reviews already and it looks good but its BIG and heavy. Be sure that you have a case that fits it.

Those temps aren't bad. You probably don't need to switch unless you just want to.

The OCZ Vendetta is a great cooler and would probably shave off a few Cs from what you show there.

Leave Prime going for about an hour and then show what the temps are just to be safe.
