i had a q6600 under a cnps8700 in my lanbox, and was able to get 3.4 out of it, great cooling i thought.

Or you could get one of these 29.99 shipped. As soon as you get it lap it and it'll work very well for you. I got one and it works VERY well. Definitely needs a good lapping though as any cooler does really. Use some good paste on it like OCZ freeze or TuniqTX2 and youll be off and running.
