Hey guys, I'm looking into a new build as follows.
__________________X2 7750 Black Edition (Gonna be OC'ing) Asus M3A78 PRO Hiper Osiris Mid-Tower OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 800MHz (CL4) Titanium or something Some Zalman ZM-RHS1 Passive VGA RAM coolers (for the mosfets) I'll be using my current 500w Xclio PSU and an XFX 8800GT Alpha Dog 256mb which I got off of ebay for £36. Now the main question, aftermarket coolers. Tuniq Tower 120 or Xigmatek 1283 Red Scorpion I've heard that the Red Scorpion only mounts horizontally on AM2 boards, which isn't much of a problem considering the Osiris has a bottom mounted PSU and Top+Rear120mm exhausts and a front 120mm intake. Which would give me better performance? Would they be sucking in warm air from the GPU? Would it even fit inside the case? Is there a better motherboard for around the same price I can OC on (£60-70)? And would my 500w PSU be sufficient to run all of this? Is OCZ ram any good (would I be better off getting CL5 timing Corsair XMS2, would there be much difference)? Thanks in advance guys

Get the Xig for better performance
__________________Won't make a diff which way you mount it because of the case You won't be intaking much warm air from the GPU beacuse most of the heat goes out the side/back Should fit in the case Not sure about AMD mobos 500 watts should be enough as long as it is good quality Both Corsair and OCZ is great and I doubt theres much diff

Thanks a lot.
__________________I looked into this little 500w before I bought it as I needed something cheaper at the time. Reviews said it was sturdy and a decent performer. Hasn't disappointed for two years. Xigmatek it is then.

I'd look into a standard Xigmatek S1284 myself. But either way though, the Xigmatek should perform on par or better than a Tuniq Tower. It actually rivals the TRUE, which is well known as the "best" air cooler out right now. The Xigmatek is just a few *C warmer and half the price.
Good luck with your build .

I was looking at that, but the only Xigmatek coolers I could find in the UK were the 1283's, which both had good reviews.
__________________I'm looking at the Red Scorpion more so as the pipes are nickel plated, which although slightly less effective at cooling than the original should make the RS last a bit longer. Also, would the stock Xigmatek fan be ok for a 7750BE overclock to around 3.3/3.5? Would I be better off going for a different fan? If so, which one? I have no knowledge whatsoever when it comes to decent fans.
