thanks for the suggestions noob down but that brand xigmatech or something aren't avalabe in new zealand

and also i dont think that artic sivler paste is going to have checked price and it was $32 nz

Then, just buy the cooler and use the thermal pad that comes with, that is still going to be much better than the stock cooler.

so this thermal pad is it just thermal paste already on it and do i need too remove the thermal paste alredy on my cpu if so how?

also ive seen alot of people use the zalman CNPS9700 what do you think of that cpu cooler?

Yes, the thermal pad on the Artic cooler is just thermal paste pre-applied, there is a plastic seal on top, do not forget to remove the plastic seal before installing the cooler.

This, would also be an excellent cooler for your cpu, better than the Artic cooler. There is also the cnps9500, which is a smaller version of the cnps9700 wich would also be a good cooler for your cpu.

Yes you need to remove the thermal paste that is on your CPU now. Use Q-tips and/or a paper towel with acetone. It is safe and works the best. Pick it up anywhere that sells paint.
