Talking stock cpu cooler fan spinning too fast

i was running occt and speedfan. i have the stock cooler on my x2 4600 (not for long) and i had the side of the case because case has rubbish cooling and then the fan speed on speed fan yas reading about 3100 and i was looking inside (nearly stuck my finger in it because of poor lightling) and that fan was spinning fast as its not really a worry for me but is that fast for a fan it looked like it was going to fly of or something

If its not too loud then you are fine but if its unbearable then should be a software program came with your board to slow it down or in BIOS should be able too I think. You can use cool and quiet but it will interfere with overclocking I believe.
