Default Worried about my temps 9950 and Xigmatek HDT-S1283

Ok, bulit system non-overclocked it sat at 39-44 now overclocked to 3ghz it's ideling at 49-51, under load it's max is I checked playing L4D was 56.

Do you think I should re apply the AS5?, I have a p182 with 3 fans all spinning at low, medium only knocks off few oc's and is too loud.

A mounting bracket and even a higher performing fan would help out a lot. My temps went down 12c when I added the bracket and a better fan.

Fill in the gaps between the Heatpipes and fins. I rubbed it in to the gaps very well to make sure there were no air pockets. ( Any air pockets or tiny bubbles between CPU and Cooler can greatly affect results.)
Then wipe off any excess leaving only the TIM between the heatpipes and aluminum fins, then apply to to HDT Cooler as shown in the link.

One last thing. Prior to application make sure the HSF and CPU are clean. To do this use Isopropyl Alcohol 90%+ pure (This is available from the chemist Drug store, and is very inexpensive.) or something like Arcti Clean and a lint free cloth or coffee filter paper. A clean HSF and CPU are very important for best performance. Good luck.

How much AS5 did you use? You didn't unload the entire tube like some people do did you?

Don't use Speedfan to measure temps, try Coretemp and see what results you get then.

God im going crazy, been at this all day im starting to lose my mind, lowest I could get it down to is 43/44 (at now)using coretemp and that's after the 5th attempt, I've tried so many differnt teqniques and all not much differnt, please say 44 is ok, I dont feel like doing it all again for the 6th time, my case is damm heavy.

I filled in the grooves btw, tooo think didnt work, I think this is all I can get for now.

Shall I toture test it?.

Using prime it's at 56/57 under load, should I just get another heatsink I think either my senor is faulty or heatsink is broken.
